Hiring Process
Three things to expect
1. Communication
We have an intentional hiring process to ensure those joining the team are set up for long-term success and that there’s a strong mutual fit. Our hiring process takes time, but we’re committed to being as communicative as possible so you know what’s next and when you can expect to hear from us.
2. Transparency
We aim to make our process as transparent as possible with candidates. We share the salary range for every role in our job descriptions and, in our application forms, we ask candidates to confirm that they have reviewed the salary range. In the first interview, we share all the steps in the hiring process so candidates know what to expect. We respond to all questions from candidates within 2 business days (outside of holidays and team gatherings) because we want to create the best possible candidate experience.
3. Equity
We recognize how expensive looking for new employment can be. Whether it’s time off from existing work, child or elder care expenses, or otherwise, we also recognize that these barriers disproportionately affect BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ people, people who are low-income, and people with disabilities. In order to honor candidates’ time from an equity lens, we offer an e-gift card to candidates who complete a candidate assessment at a rate of $25 per hour for up to two hours (our candidate assessments are designed to take 1-2 hours).
